A little bit about me.

Most people call me Liz and you can too! I love all things coffee, the outdoors, and baking. I am a wife and momma to a toddler, in addition to owning and operating my nutrition counseling business. So I understand how life can be busy - but I believe prioritizing our individual health is so important.

As someone who has recovered from several years of disordered eating tendencies myself, I want to make food freedom accessible to ALL! Everyone deserves food freedom. You deserve to have good energy. You deserve to not feel stressed, confused, or worried about your food choices. You shouldn’t constantly be thinking about food or how your body looks. These things are not normal. There is so much more to life than that!

I am honored to work with so many amazing and motivated people. I take so much pride in my clients and the work that we do together. This business is truly my passion and life’s calling - I hope that it is evident if we do end up working together.

Counseling Approaches Utilized:

  • Person-centered counseling: operates on the humanistic belief that the client is inherently driven toward and has the capacity for growth and self-actualization; it relies on this force for therapeutic change. The role of the counselor is to provide a nonjudgmental environment conducive to honest self-exploration.

  • Anti-diet approach: utilizes a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework, which emphasizes the idea that everyone, regardless of body size, can pursue healthy behaviors. Aims to promote healthy mental practices and sustainable eating habits.

  • Weight-neutral approach: a therapeutic approach to improving the health of individuals by focusing less on BMI, and more on lifestyle behaviors.
